26 April 1974 saw the business launch of VOLCONSA (VOLADURAS CONTROLADAS, S.A.) a company exclusively dedicated to demolition work and special explosive activities through controlled explosions. Some time later in 1976, infrastructure work, roads, networks, etc was included in the company's remit and this was subsequently followed in 1979 by building work, renovation and restoration of buildings, and work in all areas of construction has continued to expand to the present day, at the same time extending the company's geographical scope...
This development and extension of operations led the company to change its corporate name in December 2002 and it is now known as VOLCONSA, CONSTRUCCIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE SERVICIOS, S.A.
